Business Success through Social Networking

One of the tools that is critical in today’s hectic and competitive business landscape is social media and on line networking for business success. I’m working daily to figure out how to leverage everything we are doing whether it’s the blog, Twitter, FaceBook, YouTube or any of the other resources.  I must say that initially I was really a Toxic Person about even the thought of it all!

If you are not twittering - start today

For my speaking business, I am taking personal responsibility by reading and finding the best people to help me with this.  Today I had a contact from YouTube asking for information on my speaking and consulting with their group. Is that cool or what?

How can Twitter and Social Networking Help Your Business Success?

Part of managing success is using all communication tools available. There are hundreds of on-line social networks to which you can connect. Are you confused? Which ones are best for you?

Then layer on the networking meetings, up close and personal time with people, and you can be in the down draft of the networking typhoon. It’s not just the Generation Y that are building businesses using these tools.  Here are a couple of my suggestions:

Negative News and Media can make you a Toxic Person

When I boot up my computer in the morning, the first page is always my personalized page from the Wall Street Journal. I used to have it on Fox News but couldn’t stand having the first information in my brain tragic deaths, murders and general world chaos.

I am convinced that you do become what you think about so I make a choice not to start a great day with ugly information. It can make you a Toxic Person! What the WSJ does for me is condenses important factoids into two or three sentences. IF I choose to read more, then I can.

Service Men and Women – THANK YOU

Pearl Harbor Day is a time for reflection. We should all take a moment and thank the people protecting our freedoms – our men and women in the service – and those who have so bravely protected our country.  Be sure to thank people in uniform when you see them.

Pearl Harbor Day

Shame on NBC  for refusing to air ads thanking our troops over the holidays!  Talk about Toxic People!!!  And why does difficult people behavior seem to permeate the media? It does make me crazy.

Happy Thanksgiving – and Gobble!

This day I thankfully accept all of the good things that are coming my way.  This day is full of excitement, love, energy, health, and prosperity.  This day, people are calling on me to be of service to them and I respond by giving my very best.  This day, I think and practice health in my life, refusing to accept anything less than perfect health.

The plans are to take this extraordinary event to the East and West sides of the Valley. I understand there has also been a request from Colorado to bring the program to their state!
