Narrow minds, ignorance and YOU

Narrow minds judge what they do not understand and this thinking leads the way to ignorance. Today, question and learn something that you are against or don’t agree with.  Keep an open mind and remember you don’t have to agree. You just need to gather information and listen.

“The fact that an opinion has been widely held is no evidence whatever that it is not utterly absurd.” Betrand Russell.  As a personal development expert these thought help workplace conflict resolution and will increase productivity.

Certainly is something to think about. Guess it really about who is in charge and who has the biggest ego, these days I find it very difficult to sit down and discuss things with people, everyone’s ego is far too inflated.

And it may be who has the best communication skills! It’s all about taking personal responsibility for the delivery and word choice.

    Thanks for you comments!

nice to see Bertrand Russell quoted. I used to read him alot 30 years ago. always entertaining! smart guy too. more accessible than most philo we were all required to read. also- am starting a book on neighborhood association start up strategies. one of the chapters is tentatively called “is there a shrink in the house?” dealing with toxic people. there always seems to be a few. it is admittedly one of my weaknesses, i just can’t deal with them effectively. my fave Gary Larson cartoon has God making a big pot of stew, with all kinds of spices on racks behind and on the table, and he’s holding a shaker labelled ‘jerks’ and the comment is “And just to make it interesting.” will see if i cant pick up your book on toxic people in the library.
